How do I analyze my numbers in Peak Analytics?

At the top, choose the source (orders, receipts, tasks, goals or files), then what goes in the rows and what in the columns, and the metric: count, sum, average, minimum or maximum of a number field. Date fields can be grouped by day, week, month, quarter or year. The table shows totals at the edge; the darker a cell, the larger its value.

    1. Open Peak Analytics.
    2. Choose source, rows, columns and metric.
    3. Read the statement above the table and the numbers in it.

How do I get an analysis into Excel?

“CSV for Excel” downloads exactly the table you see, with semicolons and a German decimal comma, so Excel and Numbers open it correctly right away.

Frequently asked

  • Is an analysis saved?Answer

    Is an analysis saved?

No, Peak recalculates it every time you open it from the data of the respective app, so it's never out of date. The question itself is in the address: with ★ you add it to “Your views”, or you send the link to your team, who then see the same analysis under their own permissions.

  • Peak Analytics says “No … yet”, although I have data.Troubleshooting

Peak Analytics says “No … yet”, although I have data.

Peak Analytics reads each source from its app: orders from Peak Profit, receipts from Peak Finance, tasks from Peak Task, goals from Peak Goals and files from Peak Docs. It counts what belongs to the company you're working in right now; without a company, your personal space. If your data lives in another company or the app is still empty there, the analysis stays empty.

    1. Check that you're working in the right company.
    2. Open the source's app and see whether the data is there.
    3. If it says “… aren't loading right now.”, click “Try again”.
