  • How do I move an event or schedule a task?How-to

How do I move an event or schedule a task?

In Day and Week view, drag an event to a new spot or drag its bottom edge to make it longer. With the keyboard: focus the event; Alt + up/down arrow moves it by 15 minutes, Alt + left/right by one day, Alt + Shift + arrow changes its length. Drag tasks without a date from “Unscheduled” into the calendar, or tap “Schedule” for the next free slot.

    1. Every move can be reversed with “Undo”.
    2. In a series, dragging moves only this one event.
    3. Events from Google go to Google first; if Google refuses, everything stays as it was.

How do I change just one event in a series?

Open the event, change it and, when saving, choose “Only this one”, “This and all following” or “All”. Peak asks the same when you delete. For Google series, “Only this one” works, and for the whole series you can change title, location and description; you change the times of the whole series in Google.

  • Are tasks in the calendar the same as in Peak Task, Day and Board?Answer

Are tasks in the calendar the same as in Peak Task, Day and Board?

Yes. A task exists once. The calendar shows it on its scheduled day (as a block if it has a time), otherwise on its due date. If you move or complete it here, it's moved or completed everywhere. Routines are recurring tasks from Peak Task; the next one is created when you check off the current one. Bookings from Peak Booking and scheduled sales sessions appear too; you change them where they come from.

  • What does “After the event” under Today do?Answer

What does “After the event” under Today do?

After an event with other people, Peak quietly asks what came out of it. “Task” creates a task in Peak Task and links it to the event, “Note” opens the outcome field, “No action” closes the question. Preparation and outcome notes stay in Peak and never go to Google.

  • An event from Google doesn't appear in Peak Calendar.Troubleshooting

An event from Google doesn't appear in Peak Calendar.

Peak syncs when you open the calendar (at most every two minutes per calendar). Check that the calendar is shown on the left and that “Sync” is on in its settings; “Now” starts syncing immediately.

    1. On the left under “Calendars”, show the Google calendar.
    2. Slider icon next to it: “Sync” must be on.
    3. Press “Now” at the bottom left.
    4. If it says “Reconnect”, the Google connection has expired: reconnect it under Integrations.

  • “Peak isn't allowed to change anything in this calendar.” What does that mean?Error message

“Peak isn't allowed to change anything in this calendar.” What does that mean?

You haven't allowed Peak to make changes to this Google calendar. On the left under “Calendars”, open the permissions with the slider icon and turn on “Peak may create”, “Peak may edit” or “Peak may delete”. If it says “Read-only in Google”, you only have read access in Google itself; that can only be changed in Google.

  • “Peak doesn't understand that yet.” for a recurrence.Error message

“Peak doesn't understand that yet.” for a recurrence.

Peak didn't recognize your recurrence. Write it more simply, for example “daily”, “weekdays”, “every Tue and Thu”, “every 2 weeks” or “every last Friday of the month”. Below the field, Peak shows what it understood.
