How-tos

When you first open it, Peak Cashflow asks for three numbers on one screen: today's account balance, money coming in per month and costs per month, plus optionally single larger payments such as stock or taxes. Estimates are fine, and you don't need a bank connection. With “Create plan” you see the projected account balance over 13 weeks and where money gets tight; you add everything else in the plan with “Add payment”.

With “Import bank statement” as a CSV file, in three steps: “Upload”, “Map columns”, “Review & import”. Date and amount are required. If Peak recognizes a date, an amount and a text, it maps the columns itself.
- Export the statement from your online banking as CSV.
- In Peak Cashflow, choose “Import bank statement” and upload the file.
- Map at least “Date*” and “Amount*”. Optional: reference, sender / recipient, note, category.
- Tip: also map the transaction ID. Then re-importing won't create duplicates.
- Review the rows and import them. Transactions can be matched to planned payments.

3Why does the Shopify amount in Cashflow differ from Shopify revenue?Answer
Page to shareWhy does the Shopify amount in Cashflow differ from Shopify revenue?
Peak Cashflow works with the money that actually arrives: Shopify payouts minus fees, returns and holds, not gross revenue. That's why the figure is lower than the revenue in the Shopify dashboard.

No. The demo shows sample data and saves nothing. Your real plan starts empty.

Under “What if …?”, choose a scenario such as “Advertising +20%”, “Revenue −20%” or “Stock order 2 weeks later”. Peak shows your low point before and after. Your payments stay unchanged. You can save the result as a scenario or note it as a decision.

Usually the date or amount mapping is missing, or the format doesn't fit. Check that the file is a CSV with a header row, that “Date*” and “Amount*” are mapped and that at least one row is selected. Save Excel files as CSV first.

Every company has its own plan and its own team. Your role there only allows reading. Ask an owner or admin to change your role under Settings → Members & teams.

The data didn't arrive completely. In that case Peak would rather show nothing than incomplete figures. Choose “Try again”. If the message stays, check the status and write to us.
