How do I set up a community for my customers?

Open Peak Community in your company's workspace and choose “Set up community”. Peak creates three spaces: Announcements (only moderators post), Questions & Answers and General. You invite customers and partners as guests under Settings › Members. Guests only see spaces set to “Team and guests”; spaces set to “Team only” stay internal.

    1. Switch to your company's workspace and open Peak Community.
    2. Choose “Set up community”. Under Moderation you adjust spaces or create new ones.
    3. Invite customers under Settings › Members with the role “Guest”.

How do I mark an answer as the solution?

In “Questions & Answers” spaces, the person who asked or a moderator can choose “Mark as solution” below an answer. The answer then appears at the top, and the question disappears from the “Open questions” filter.

  • Who moderates the community, and what happens to reported posts?Answer

Who moderates the community, and what happens to reported posts?

Owners and admins always moderate; they appoint further moderators under Moderation. Whoever reports a post or comment stays invisible to everyone except the moderators. Moderators get the report in their Inbox and decide: hide it (with a reason the author can see) or close it as fine. Hidden content can be restored at any time.

  • Why can't I post or comment in the community?Troubleshooting

Why can't I post or comment in the community?

Usually it's a rule of the space: in spaces set to “Only moderators post”, such as Announcements, only moderators post. A locked post takes no new comments. Guests only see and use spaces set to “Team and guests”. An access profile of your organization can also turn off posting; then an owner or admin can help.

    1. Check whether the space says “Everyone posts” or “Only moderators post”.
    2. If the post says “Locked”, only moderators can unlock it.
    3. A post needs a title of at least three characters.
