How do I set up my company's obligations in Peak Compliance?

When you first open it, you choose from ten typical obligations of small companies which ones apply to you, such as the annual safety briefing, data protection training or the inspection of electrical equipment. Each obligation gets a deadline, an interval and a responsible person; you add more under “Obligations”.

    1. Open Peak Compliance and choose the obligations that apply to you.
    2. Enter the responsible person for each obligation.
    3. When an obligation is fulfilled, record it with the date: Peak calculates the next deadline.

  • How do I mark a duty as done in Peak Compliance?How-to

How do I mark a duty as done in Peak Compliance?

With “Done” on the duty. You enter when and by whom, optionally with a note. From that, Peak recalculates the next due date. A training duty is proven with “Record training”, a data subject request with “Answered”, and a control under “Controls” with “Record test” and the result “Effective” or “Deficiencies found”.

    1. Open Peak Compliance → Duties.
    2. Click “Done” on the duty.
    3. Choose the date and person, add a note if needed, and click “Save”.
    4. Peak confirms “Evidence saved. The next due date has been recalculated.”

  • Who can see a report under the German Whistleblower Protection Act?Answer

Who can see a report under the German Whistleblower Protection Act?

A report is confidential: only owners and admins, the responsible person and whoever recorded it can see it. In the calendar and the history it only appears as “Confidential report”. Peak reminds you of the acknowledgement of receipt after seven days and the feedback after three months. There's no anonymous public reporting channel yet.

  • Where do the finance and shop signals under “Risks” come from?Answer

Where do the finance and shop signals under “Risks” come from?

Peak reads receipts from Peak Finance (the same invoice number, or the same amount from the same supplier within 14 days) and orders from Peak Profit (three or more refunded orders from the same customer within 90 days). Peak changes nothing there and doesn't store a signal; only when you take it over does it become a risk.
