A course is a run with a title, seats and optionally a minimum number, a price and a registration deadline. Then you plan the sessions and enter registrations. Peak immediately shows how full the course is and whether it's below its minimum shortly before the start.
- Open Peak Courses and choose “Courses”, then “New course”.
- Enter title, seats and minimum number and save.
- Plan the sessions and enter the first registrations.

Frequently asked
3How does the waiting list work in Peak Courses?Answer
Page to shareHow does the waiting list work in Peak Courses?
Once a course is full, every further registration goes on the waiting list, sorted by registration time. When a seat becomes free, Peak suggests the first person to move up. Nobody moves up until you confirm it, and you tell the person yourself; Peak sends nothing.
When does someone get a certificate of attendance?Answer
Page to shareWhen does someone get a certificate of attendance?
When all sessions are over and the person has reached at least the course's minimum attendance (80 % by default). A past session without an entry counts as absent. You issue the certificate under “Attendance”; after that it can't be changed and is a page to print or save as a PDF.

When it's open, has fewer booked seats than its minimum and starts in 14 days or less. A course without a minimum or without a session is never at risk, because there's nothing to compare.

1Why can't I enroll anyone in a course?Troubleshooting
Page to shareWhy can't I enroll anyone in a course?
A course in draft takes no enrollments. Click “Open enrollment” on the course; after that it works until the course is completed or cancelled. When the course is full, every new enrollment goes to the waiting list automatically. A person is in a course only once: someone already enrolled or on the waiting list isn't added twice.
- Open Courses and choose the course.
- If it says “Draft”, click “Open enrollment”.
- Enter the person's name and, when you have it, their email.
