Peak Fleet works in a company workspace. When you first open it, Peak asks for the first vehicle: a name is enough, plate and powertrain are quickly added. You then add deadlines such as inspection or lease end, drivers and costs on the vehicle. Further vehicles are added in the overview with “Add vehicle”.
- Open Peak Fleet in your company's workspace.
- Enter the name, optionally the plate, and the powertrain, then click “Create vehicle”.
- Open the vehicle and under “Deadlines & maintenance” → “Add”, create the inspection, maintenance or lease end, with a date or kilometre limit.
- Assign a person with “Assign driver” and enter the current reading with “Report odometer”.

2How do I keep track of inspections, maintenance and other deadlines?Answer

Each deadline sits on the vehicle, with a date or kilometre limit, lead time and, if you like, a repeat in months or kilometres. The “Action needed” tab collects all due deadlines, maintenance and open incidents, most urgent first: critical, overdue, action needed, soon. When something is done, click “Prove completion” on the vehicle and enter a proof. For a repeating deadline, Peak creates the next one.

Owners and admins of the company manage the whole fleet. All other members only see the vehicle currently assigned to them, in the “My vehicle” tab. There they report odometer readings and incidents. They do not see costs, contracts or insurance. Without a current assignment, their list is empty.

2Peak Fleet won't accept my odometer reading. What can I do?Troubleshooting

Peak checks every reading against the vehicle's history. A reading lower than an earlier one, or a reading time in the future, is rejected. If an earlier reading was wrong, correct it with “Correct odometer” and a reason of at least ten characters. Only fleet managers can make corrections. Drivers report new readings.
- Check the number, the unit (km or mi) and the “Read on” date.
- Look in the vehicle's odometer history for a reading that is too high.
- Have an owner or admin correct the wrong old reading, then enter the current reading again.

Page to shareThe list of people is empty when I assign a driver. Why?
Peak Fleet takes drivers from People Core. Anyone not yet recorded there as a person of your company does not appear under “Person from People Core”. Add the person in People Core, then open the assignment again. An assignment also must not overlap another one or run past the contract or insurance end.
