  • Home shows “Last week's focus”. What should I do?How-to

Home shows “Last week's focus”. What should I do?

Your Next 3 always apply to one week starting Monday. In a new week, Home asks whether the three are still right. You keep them with one click or choose new ones.

    1. Open Home.
    2. Choose “Keep this focus for this week” if the three still fit.
    3. Or choose “Rethink in Peak Work” and set a new Next 3.

  • Can I check off my Next 3 directly on Home?How-to

Can I check off my Next 3 directly on Home?

Yes. Next to each of your Next 3 there's “Mark as done”. It then says “Done”, and a second tap reopens the task. The list doesn't jump around, and the task is done everywhere, including in Board, Day and Peak Work.

  • How do I add my own pages, folders or apps to the sidebar?How-to

How do I add my own pages, folders or apps to the sidebar?

With the + next to Home. Whatever you add there sits directly under Home as your pages. You can choose “New page”, “Tasks”, “Dashboard”, a group (folder), “Add existing” for apps or Work, Discover and Connect, an external link, a separator and “Save this page” for the page that's open right now.

    1. If the sidebar is hidden, open it with the sidebar icon at the top left or ⌘B.
    2. Click the + next to Home.
    3. Choose what to create. “New page” has two columns you lay out freely by drag and drop.
    4. To add something under an existing entry, use the + on its row or “Create inside …” in its ⋯ menu.

  • How do I sort, rename or remove entries in the sidebar?How-to

How do I sort, rename or remove entries in the sidebar?

Via the ⋯ menu on each entry, or by drag and drop. If you drag an entry onto another one, it then sits inside it. Removing deletes only the shortcut, never the app or the data behind it.

    1. ⋯ → “Rename”, “Move up”, “Move down” or “Move to …”.
    2. ⋯ → “Pin” places the entry at the top under “Pinned”; “Unpin” takes it out again.
    3. Owners and admins can put an entry into the company's navigation with “Share with the company”.
    4. By keyboard: Alt + arrows moves or nests, F2 renames.

  • How do I work with tabs in Peak?How-to

How do I work with tabs in Peak?

Open pages appear at the top as tabs, like in a browser. Right-clicking a tab pins it, renames it, gives it an emoji, moves it or closes it. Pinned tabs stay in new windows of this browser too. The + opens ⌘K, and whatever you choose opens in a new tab.

    1. Right-click (or the context-menu key) on a tab: “Pin tab”, “Rename”, “Choose emoji”, “Close others”, “Open in new window”.
    2. Tabs can be reordered by dragging.
    3. Whether the tab bar appears is set under Settings → Personalization: “Automatic (from the second tab)”, “Always show” or “Never show”.

  • How do I show a page full screen, without the sidebar and tabs?How-to

How do I show a page full screen, without the sidebar and tabs?

With the two diagonal arrows at the top right of the content, or ⇧⌘F (Windows: Shift+Ctrl+F). The sidebar, tabs and the top bar disappear; the app's views stay. The same button, Esc or ⇧⌘F makes it small again.

    1. To show or hide only the sidebar: ⌘B (Windows: Ctrl+B) or the sidebar icon at the top left.
    2. Drag the sidebar's edge to change its width; a click on the edge collapses or expands it.

Frequently asked

  • What does Home show me?Answer

    What does Home show me?

At the top there is exactly one main action with its reason. Below that, depending on the situation: “Needs attention” (three at most), “Your Next 3”, “Your apps”, “Continue” and “Your Atlas”. Home shows no sample content. If data is missing, Home says so.

  • Why does Home say my liquidity overview may be out of date?Answer

Why does Home say my liquidity overview may be out of date?

A Cashflow result is considered out of date after 30 days. Home says so instead of showing old figures as current. Open Peak Cashflow and update the account balance, and the notice disappears.

  • Why does Home greet me with “Welcome back”?Answer

Why does Home greet me with “Welcome back”?

If you haven't been active for 14 days or more, Home first shows you where you left off. Nothing is reset and you don't start over. You confirm your focus or adjust it in Peak Work.

  • Home only shows “Where would you like to start?”. Is something missing?Answer

Home only shows “Where would you like to start?”. Is something missing?

No. Home only shows real results, no sample content. As long as you haven't saved anything in any app, Home offers you the available apps. Open one of them and create your first result, and Home will fill up after that.

Which apps appear under “Your apps”?

First the starting app you chose when building your Atlas, then apps you use, then other available apps, five at most. “All apps” next to it opens the App Launcher with everything.

  • Why is Home suggesting an app to me?Answer

Why is Home suggesting an app to me?

There are two reasons. “…, saved for later” appears because you saved the app on its product page. “… could help next” matches the goals you told Peak about, and only appears once an app already has a result for you. Home shows at most one such suggestion; “Later” or “Not relevant” makes it go away.

  • What does “Peak understands …% of your world” mean?Answer

What does “Peak understands …% of your world” mean?

It's the average across seven areas: goals, company, work, money, energy, team and preferences. It's based only on what you've told Peak. With “Improve my Atlas” you add missing details. The “Your Atlas” card only appears after you've built your Atlas, and not with “Less guidance”.

  • Why does Home show notices about my inventory?Answer

Why does Home show notices about my inventory?

Because you have products in Peak Products. Home reports products that are sold out or below minimum stock. If you haven't updated your stock for seven days or more, Home suggests “Time for your weekly stock check”.

Home says a section “couldn't be loaded just now”.

  • My sidebar looks different on another device.Troubleshooting

My sidebar looks different on another device.

When you're signed in, Peak saves your sidebar in your account; the browser keeps only a copy. If it says “Saved only in this browser” or “Not yet saved in your account” at the bottom, saving didn't go through. Choose “Try again” once the connection is back.
