How do I start a focus block in Focus & Time?

Under “What you're working on” pick one of today's three tasks, choose a length (15, 25 or 50 minutes, or open-ended) and start. Next to it Peak shows how long you are undisturbed and never suggests a block that runs into your next appointment. The clock stays visible at the top, in other apps too.

    1. Open Focus & Time.
    2. Pick a task. If nothing is planned for today, you can still start a block.
    3. Choose the length and start.

  • What happens when I finish a focus block?Answer

What happens when I finish a focus block?

You choose “Done”, “Made progress” or “Keep going”. With “Done” the task is checked off everywhere, in Tasks & Today, Peak Task and Day. The focus time is saved without breaks and shows up under “Focused today” and in the week view.

  • Can anyone see my focus time?Answer

Can anyone see my focus time?

No. Focus & Time starts every session as private, and only you see the numbers. It is the same clock as in Peak Timer and Peak Focus, so only one session runs at a time. There is no ranking or streak.

Can I pause or extend in Focus & Time?

Not here. Pausing, capturing thoughts and extending are in Peak Timer, which shows the same running session. Focus & Time sticks to starting and finishing.
