Peak Life Goals

Personal goals and plans: at most three in focus, each with its next step and a weekly check-in.

How do I create a personal goal?

Open Peak Life Goals, write your goal in one sentence and choose an area of life. Then you decide how you'll notice progress: in milestones, with a number or simply done. As long as fewer than three goals are in focus, the new one goes straight into focus.

    1. Open Peak Life Goals.
    2. Under “New goal”, enter the sentence and the area.
    3. Choose how you'll notice progress.
    4. Optional: why it matters to you and by when.

How does a step become a task in my day?

Open a goal's details and write the step under “Steps in your tasks”. “Turn into task” creates it in Peak Task; whether you complete it there or here, it's done everywhere.

    1. Open the goal (details).
    2. Enter the step.
    3. Click “Turn into task”.

How does the weekly check-in work?

Seven days after the last check-in, or after creating the goal, Peak Life Goals shows a notice at the top for every goal in focus. The check-in takes two minutes: today's value (for goals with a number), how confident you are and, optionally, a short note. Paused and finished goals aren't asked about.

    1. Open Peak Life Goals and click “Start check-in” in the notice, or open the goal.
    2. For a goal with a number, enter “Value today”.
    3. Choose “Shaky”, “Doable” or “Sure” and, if you like, write what happened.
    4. Click “Save check-in”.

Why are at most three goals in focus?

Because more goals at once rarely make progress. Every focus goal shows its next step every day; all others wait under “Later” and can be swapped at any time.
