Under Week you set a dish for each day, from your recipes or as free text. The shopping list is built from the ingredients of the planned recipes, minus whatever you mark as in stock.

It's derived from the recipes in your weekly plan and isn't stored separately: identical ingredients are combined, items in stock are left out. When the plan changes, the list changes.

Only you. Recipes, weekly plan and pantry are stored privately on your person. Planning together with others will follow.
Errors & problems
1Why doesn't Meals suggest a particular recipe?Troubleshooting
Page to shareWhy doesn't Meals suggest a particular recipe?
Meals never suggests a recipe whose ingredients or tags match one of your exclusions. Recipes you cooked in the last seven days drop far down. Otherwise Peak ranks by your rating, by ingredients from your pantry, by time and by how long ago you last had a dish. If something is already planned for today, Meals shows that instead of a suggestion.
- Check the exclusions under “Recipes”. A word like “lactose” also catches milk, cream and cheese.
- If you've paged through everything with “Another suggestion”, start over with “From the start”.
- Rate cooked recipes with stars, and your favorites come up more often.
- If today's plan holds free text like “leftovers”, “Cook after all: show suggestion” still gives you a suggestion.
