Create a purchase order or import your list as CSV. Every order starts as a draft, gets approved and is then sent to the supplier by you. After that, you enter the confirmation, production dates and shipments.
- Open Peak Supply and choose “Purchase order”.
- Choose the supplier and the products from Peak Products, and enter quantity, price and need-by date.
- “Ready for approval”, then approve (owner or admin).
- Send the order yourself and mark it as sent.

Under “Import & settings” → CSV import. Choose what you're importing (suppliers, open orders or shipments) and paste the CSV with a header row, separated by commas or semicolons. Peak recognizes German and English column names such as supplier, order number, SKU, quantity, price, ETA. You see every row beforehand, and nothing is applied until you click.
- Peak Supply → “Import & settings”.
- Under “What are you importing?”, choose suppliers, open orders or shipments.
- Paste the CSV with a header row or click “Insert template”, then “Preview”.
- Click “Apply …”. A second import with the same order number or shipment reference doesn't create duplicates.

Under Procure → Suppliers with “New supplier”. If the company already exists from Connect or CRM, Peak uses it instead of creating a duplicate. Supply only adds what procurement needs: lead time, minimum order quantity, payment terms and items.

Under “Inbound” with “Create shipment”. Choose the line items in this shipment and enter the ETA. A shipment needs a confirmed order with quantities that haven't shipped yet. An ETA from the supplier is a commitment, a planned one only a plan; Peak shows both separately.

In the shipment under “Record update”, enter the new status from supplier, forwarder or carrier: status, ETA or a date such as departure, arrival, customs clearance or arrival at the warehouse. Every update stays in the history, and an older report never overwrites a newer one.

In the shipment under “Goods receipt”, enter what arrived. Provide a reference such as the delivery note number so nothing is booked twice. Only accepted goods go to Peak Inventory as stock: received minus damaged, rejected and quarantined.
- Open the shipment under “Inbound”.
- Under “Goods receipt”, enter the reference.
- For each line item, enter the quantity received and, if needed, damaged, rejected or quarantined.
- Save. The receipt appears under “Booked receipts”.

Frequently asked
5Which ETA does Peak Supply show, and why is there sometimes a “≈” in front?Answer
Page to shareWhich ETA does Peak Supply show, and why is there sometimes a “≈” in front?
Peak takes the best source available: actual arrival, then carrier, forwarder, supplier, plan and finally its own estimate. “≈” means not confirmed, but planned or estimated. All ETAs stay visible on the shipment; none is overwritten. Goods are only available in the warehouse after customs, delivery and goods receipt.
How are Peak Supply and Peak Inventory connected?Answer
Page to shareHow are Peak Supply and Peak Inventory connected?
Inventory decides what gets reordered. An approved purchasing plan arrives in Supply as a draft, grouped by supplier, without any quantities being changed. Supply reports back what's on the way and when, and after goods receipt, only the accepted quantity as stock.
How does Peak Supply calculate an order's landed costs?Answer

From goods value, tooling and packaging, freight and logistics, and customs and fees, spread across the number of units. Import VAT isn't spread. As long as no actual costs are recorded, freight and customs are estimates from the order. With “Record actual costs”, you replace them.

In the order under “Edit payment schedule”, you set what's due when. The schedule appears in Peak Finance as a commitment. Once you've paid, you mark the payment as paid. Peak doesn't pay or book anything itself.

From the recorded dates of the last 12 months, e.g. whether production was on time. With fewer than three orders, the value is only an indication. Delay means: expected or actual date against the confirmed one, otherwise against the planned one.
