When you first open the app, adopt the six core questions. Peak creates the template “Engagement · six core questions” from them. Then under “Surveys” you create a draft, choose template, audience and period, and start it. Invitations land in the participants' Peak Inbox.
- Click “Adopt these six questions”.
- Under “Surveys”: choose survey name, template and audience, then “Create draft”.
- Check the participation preview and the privacy settings.
- Start the survey. You nudge open invitations with “Remind”.

Under “Actions” with “Create action”: choose the result, what you're changing, the owner and the due date (both required), and optionally a date to measure again and a goal. Managers create actions only for their released team and with themselves as owner. The owner creates the related Peak task themselves.
- Open “Actions” and click “Create action”.
- Choose the result and describe the action under “What are we changing?”.
- Choose the person and “Due on”, then click “Save action”.
- Keep the status current with “Record progress”.

Frequently asked
1How anonymous are the answers?Answer
Page to shareHow anonymous are the answers?
You decide per survey: Anonymous, Confidential or Identified. For anonymous answers Peak stores no link to the person and only the day of submission. Only closed identified surveys can be exported with names, and only with explicit permission. Only authorized HR sees raw comments, and every access is logged. Free text can still reveal its author through its content; the survey points this out to participants.
Errors & problems
2Why don't I see any results yet?Troubleshooting
Page to shareWhy don't I see any results yet?
Results only appear after the survey closes, and only from the minimum group size up (adjustable from 3 to 10, default 5). Before that, HR only sees the response rate. Small groups also stay hidden when a remaining group would otherwise reveal individual answers. A hidden value appears without a number, never as zero. Close the survey to release the results.

Before the start, Peak checks whether audience and questions can respect the minimum group size. If the audience is too small, or teams combined leave remaining groups that are too small, the survey doesn't start. Choose a larger audience, or lower the minimum group size where that's justifiable. A scheduled start must lie in the future, and Peak processes it once a day.
