Workspaces

Your own screens made of panels: Ask Peak, tasks, calendar, Inbox and apps side by side, customized right on the screen.

How do I customize a workspace?

With “Customize” at the top right or ⌘⇧E (Ctrl+Shift+E). Then you choose a layout, add panels, drag them to another spot or tell Peak in one sentence what should change.

    1. Open the workspace and choose “Customize”.
    2. Choose a layout at the top, e.g. one third and two thirds.
    3. “+ Panel” adds Ask Peak, tasks, calendar, Inbox, your notes, a Lens or an app. The notes panel shows your one notes page from Peak Docs, the same one as on Home. You can show tasks as a list, board, table, calendar, timeline, Gantt, gallery or chart.
    4. Or write a sentence like “Calendar next to my tasks” or “Chat on the left and pipeline on the right”.
    5. “Done” ends customizing. Every change can be taken back with “Undo”.

  • Does a workspace copy my data?How-to

Does a workspace copy my data?

No. Only layout, panels and filters are saved. Tasks, events and apps are read from their source every time, and a panel only shows what you're allowed to open anyway.

  • A panel on my workspace shows “No access”. Why?Error message

A panel on my workspace shows “No access”. Why?

The app in that panel isn't enabled for you in this workspace. Peak checks every panel with the same rights as opening the app directly, and then shows nothing of it. Your workspace layout itself stays as it is.

    1. Check that you're in the right workspace. The same app may be enabled in another one.
    2. If you need the app, ask an owner or admin to assign you an access profile that includes it under Settings → Roles.
    3. Otherwise remove the panel: in “Customize”, open its menu and choose “Remove”.

Can I share a workspace with my team?

Not yet. Workspaces are personal for now. You can duplicate a workspace, though, or create a new one from a template (agency, sales, finance …).
