  • “Request deletion” can't be clicked.Quick fix

    “Request deletion” can't be clicked.

The button only becomes active once you type DELETE in the field above it. It then opens a prepared email to support. Download your export first if you want to keep anything.

Where is my data stored, and who can see it?

The application and database run in Frankfurt am Main, and all connections are encrypted via HTTPS. Access rules in the database ensure that each account only sees its own data. Your data is not sold and not used for advertising.

  • Does Peak read my Gmail messages or Google files?Answer

Does Peak read my Gmail messages or Google files?

No. Signing in with Google only requests email and profile: name, email address, profile picture and the ID used to sign in. Peak only uses Gmail, Drive or Calendar if you explicitly connect them under Integrations.

    What's in my data export?

No one on your team. Responsibilities, goals, working style and communication style are private. Only Ask Peak uses them, and only if you leave “Use my profile for personalization” on.

  • Do Ask Peak or search see data from apps I'm blocked from?Answer

Do Ask Peak or search see data from apps I'm blocked from?

No. Search, ⌘K, Ask Peak and the inbox show nothing from apps your access profile doesn't allow. Even a direct link to a blocked app leads to the home page. The rules also apply in the database, not just in the interface.

First end all other sessions, then secure your Google account. Because you sign in with Google, a secure Google account also protects Peak.

    1. Open Settings → Security → “Sessions” and choose “Sign out all other sessions”.
    2. Change your Google password and turn on 2-Step Verification in Google.
    3. Under Settings → Account, check whether there's an address under “Email addresses” you don't recognize, and remove it.
    4. Write to us with the time and what you noticed.
