TroubleshootingPeak Leads

Peak Leads finds nothing or too little. What can I do?

Peak queries GLEIF, Wikidata and company imprints live. Companies without an LEI and without a Wikidata entry can only be found via their website. If a source doesn't answer or a website doesn't allow reading (robots.txt), Peak says so above the list; the result may then be incomplete. ā€œUnderstood asā€ shows how Peak read your search.

  1. Search the company name without its legal form, so ā€œHafenkontor Logistikā€ instead of ā€œHafenkontor Logistik GmbHā€.
  2. Enter the company's domain, and Peak reads its imprint.
  3. For an industry, write industry and city, for example ā€œlogistics Hamburgā€.
  4. If Peak reports a source as unreachable, try again later.

Explains this message

  • The open sources know nothing about this. Try the company name without its legal form, a domain, or an industry with a city.
  • The result may therefore be incomplete.
