How do I change a contract that has already been sent?
A sent text is frozen so that everyone signs the same thing. Open the contract and click “Edit”: it becomes a draft again, existing signatures lapse and the old links stop working. Now you change it as usual, also via “What should be different?”, and send the new version. A signed contract stays unchanged; for changes you create an amendment.
- Open the contract and choose “Edit”.
- Describe the change or adjust the terms.
- Send the new version. The other side gets a new link.
