    3. In the editor under “Calendar”, connect Google Calendar and choose the account.

How do I embed Peak Booking on my website?

In the page editor under “Embed on your website”, there are two snippets: directly in the page, or as a button that opens a window. Copy one of them into your website. The calendar adjusts its height itself, and your page's UTM parameters are passed along.

How do I ask guests something before the meeting?

In the page editor under “What do you ask beforehand?”. Peak always asks for name and email. You can add your own questions as short answer, long answer, phone number, website or choice, each optionally required. Every additional question costs bookings, so only ask what you need for the conversation.

Frequently asked

  • How can a guest reschedule or cancel their appointment?Answer

How can a guest reschedule or cancel their appointment?

Through the link in the confirmation, without signing in. Rescheduling moves the same appointment (in the calendar too), and canceling removes it from the calendar. You see both under “Appointments”; a cancellation by the guest also lands in your Inbox.

  • Where do the people who book with me end up?Answer

Where do the people who book with me end up?

In Connect, as your contacts. If there's already a person with the same email, Peak uses them instead of creating a second one. If Peak already knows the company for the email domain, the appointment is linked to it too. The appointment itself counts as an activity.

  • What do the analytics in Peak Booking show?Answer

What do the analytics in Peak Booking show?

The last 30 days as a path: page viewed, times viewed, time selected, booked. Plus, per page, views, bookings, rate, cancellations and no-shows. Views are counted anonymously as daily counters. With few visits, Peak points out that rates are only an early indication.

Errors & problems

5
  • Why does my booking page show no free times?Error message

Why does my booking page show no free times?

Free times are your working hours minus busy time in the calendar, buffers, minimum notice and daily limit. Usually one of these is too tight: no weekday active, a long minimum notice, the day is marked as off, or the calendar is full. Check the working hours under “Availability” and “When can people book?” in the page editor.

  • What does “The event couldn't be added to the calendar” mean?Error message

What does “The event couldn't be added to the calendar” mean?

Google Calendar rejected the event, usually because the connection has expired or the selected calendar isn't writable. Peak then books nothing: the guest sees the message, and you get a notice in the Inbox. Reconnect Google Calendar in Settings and choose a calendar you can write to in the page editor.

  • Can I change my booking address?Error message

Can I change my booking address?

Yes, under “Availability” → “Your address”. Note: old links to your address stop working afterward. If the address you want is already taken, try another one.

  • Why can't I delete my booking page?Error message

Why can't I delete my booking page?

As long as there are upcoming meetings on the page, Peak won't let you delete it. Pause the page under “Pages” instead, or cancel the meetings under “Bookings” first. A paused page doesn't accept new bookings.

  • My guest sees an error message when booking. What does it mean?Error message

My guest sees an error message when booking. What does it mean?

Usually the time has been taken in the meantime, or a limit applies. A guest can have at most three open meetings on a page and manages them via the link in the confirmation. A paused page doesn't accept bookings. In none of these cases is anything booked.

Can Peak Booking do team routing, reminders or Outlook?

Not yet. Today a page belongs to one person and checks Google Calendar. Qualification with conditions, team routing, reminders before the appointment, recovery of abandoned bookings, Outlook and custom domains are the next stages.
