  • How does Peak Events decide which events suit me?How-to

How does Peak Events decide which events suit me?

From your event profile (goals, topics, formats, languages, home location, willingness to travel, budget), from what your network shares about attending, from the Peak curators' assessment and from your own debriefs. Every card names the reasons for and against; the number is just the summary.

    1. Open Peak Events and create your profile with six questions.
    2. In the feed, every card shows two to three reasons.
    3. On the event page, “Why this matters to you” lists all reasons.
    4. At the bottom of the start page, “Edit profile” if something no longer fits.

  • Who can see that I'm going to an event?How-to

Who can see that I'm going to an event?

Nobody, until you decide. In an event's plan, you choose: only me, my contacts (people in your Connect who use Peak), my company or all Peak members. Peak never shows “Skip” and “Saved” to others. Nothing is guessed from calendars.

  • How do I submit an event that's missing?How-to

How do I submit an event that's missing?

Under “+ Submit event”, paste the link to the official page. Peak reads the date, location and price if the page provides them in a structured way; otherwise you enter the details yourself. A curator reviews every submission, merges duplicates and publishes. You can see the status under “My events”.

  • Where do contacts and follow-ups from an event end up?How-to

Where do contacts and follow-ups from an event end up?

Contacts you capture at the event become contacts in Connect with “met at” this event. Follow-ups and preparation steps are normal tasks in Peak Work, linked to the event. There is no second contact or task list.

  • How do I see whether my event year is getting too full or too expensive?How-to

How do I see whether my event year is getting too full or too expensive?

Under “Planning” you'll find your event portfolio with budget, committed days per month and warnings, for example when a month is full, one event takes up more than half the budget, or events have no goal. Events marked “Considering” or “Going” count; events with priority X and skipped events don't.

    1. Set events to “Considering” or “Going”.
    2. Give them a priority in the plan: A · Must, B · Strong, C · Optional or X · Skip.
    3. Open “Planning” and read the budget, days per month and warnings.

  • How do I enter the actual costs and time for an event?How-to

How do I enter the actual costs and time for an event?

On the event page under “Cost & time”, each item shows Peak's estimate based on your home location. You replace it item by item with booked and actual amounts, and enter preparation and follow-up in hours. In the portfolio, actual takes precedence over booked, and booked over estimated.

    1. Open the event.
    2. Under “Cost & time”, enter booked and actual for each item.
    3. Enter “Preparation (h)” and “Follow-up (h)”.
    4. Click “Save budget & time”.

How do I write a debrief after an event?

On the event page, you answer “Was it worth it?” from 1 to 5, “Goal achieved?” and “Go again?”, enter what came out of it, and note what you're taking away. After saving, the event shows as “Attended”, and Peak takes the debrief into account in future recommendations.

    1. Open the event under “My events”.
    2. Fill in the debrief, including “Actual time (h)”.
    3. Click “Save debrief”.

How do I plan whom I want to meet at an event?

Under “Who's going”, you see Peak members who share their attendance with you and contacts you've noted yourself. With “Plan to meet”, you mark a person as “Want to meet”. Under “People” you see who's at your events.

    1. Open an event you're going to.
    2. Under “Who's going”, click “Plan to meet” for the person.
    3. If someone from your contacts is missing, choose them under “Contact is also going” and click “Note”.

How do I search for specific events?

Type what you're looking for in the search on “Discover”, for example “e-commerce in Europe in Q1 under €1,000”. Peak turns that into visible filters you can remove one by one. If nothing matches, submit a missing event.

Frequently asked

  • What do Save, Considering, Going and Skip mean?Answer

What do Save, Considering, Going and Skip mean?

They let you sort events for yourself. “Save” puts an event on your list, “Considering” means you're seriously evaluating it, and “Going” means you're attending. “Skip” deliberately hides it. After the debrief, an event shows as “Attended”. Your choice is private until you change the visibility.

Errors & problems

  • Why can't I submit an event?Error message

Why can't I submit an event?

A submission needs a link to the official page or at least the event's name. A link must be a valid web address; if https:// is missing, Peak adds it. There's also a daily limit on submissions per person; you can continue the next day.

Can Peak Events check my calendar or book travel?

Not yet. Calendar conflicts, team mode, CRM sync, event circles, a live map and the AI event brief are the next stages. Booking tickets, flights or hotels is deliberately not part of it: Peak plans and coordinates.
