5When does Peak Growth recommend spending more budget?How-to
Page to shareWhen does Peak Growth recommend spending more budget?
Only when five checks pass: the channel is estimated to earn more contribution than it costs, the advertised products last longer than your minimum coverage, conversion hasn't collapsed, the budget or cash limit can carry the extra spend and the data is reliable enough. Peak then suggests a test with +15% for 7 days. Peak never changes a budget itself.
- Open Scale → Plan & scaling.
- Read the five checks per channel.
- Create the test as an experiment or record the decision in Peak Log.

- Open Peak Growth → Scale.

- Enter values and click “Save”.

On Today, every suggestion has its action: create it as an experiment draft in Peak Experiments, as a task in Peak Work, or play it through as a scenario. With “Record decision”, you choose Implement, Defer or Don't implement, optionally with a reason, and save it in Peak Log.

Under Scale → “Plan & scaling” in the “What if” section. You change ad budget, cost per click, purchase rate, basket value, discount or refund rate and see baseline versus scenario for 30 days. A scenario isn't a forecast and doesn't change actuals. You can save it with a name.

Frequently asked
3Where do the numbers in Peak Growth come from?Answer
Page to shareWhere do the numbers in Peak Growth come from?
Orders, revenue and contribution margin come from Peak Profit, ad spend from Google Ads or your import in Peak Profit, traffic and funnel live from GA4, campaigns from Peak UTM and the guardrail from Peak Break-even ROAS. Every number carries its source: “Reported by Google Ads”, “Attributed by GA4”, “Blended” or “Estimate”. Missing ad spend never counts as zero, and the data status at the top of each page shows what is stale or missing.
How does Peak Growth determine the bottleneck?Answer
Page to shareHow does Peak Growth determine the bottleneck?
Peak compares candidates from data quality, unit economics, acquisition cost, conversion, traffic, basket, inventory and budget, and picks the one with the largest expected contribution margin, weighted by certainty, urgency and effort. That is deliberately not the step with the lowest rate. Every bottleneck shows what speaks for and against it; correlations are not causes.
What does Peak Growth calculate with a monthly target?Answer
Page to shareWhat does Peak Growth calculate with a monthly target?
Growth calculates backward: how many orders are needed, or which purchase rate, or which ad spend, to reach the target, compared with the last 30 days. The target is revenue or contribution margin. Detailed funnel plans stay in the Funnel Planner.

3Peak Growth shows “No orders yet”. What's missing?Troubleshooting
Page to sharePeak Growth shows “No orders yet”. What's missing?
Growth calculates with the orders from Peak Profit. If there are none there, Growth only shows what's missing. Connect Shopify or import orders into Peak Profit. If Shopify is already connected, fetch the orders into Peak Profit once.
- Choose “Fetch orders in Peak Profit”.
- In Peak Profit, connect Shopify or import orders.
- Back in Growth: the metrics are now based on real numbers.
- Just looking? “View sample store” shows Growth with sample data; nothing is saved.

Page to shareWhy don't I see a funnel under Convert?
The funnel comes live from Google Analytics 4. Without a GA4 connection or without an entered property, there's no funnel. Peak only reads reports; nothing is stored.
- If GA4 isn't connected yet: “Connect GA4 →” and connect the organization in Settings.
- If GA4 is connected: “Enter property →” and enter the GA4 property ID under Scale → “Budget & settings”.
- If it says “GA4 couldn't be read”: check the connection in Settings and reconnect.

Page to shareWhy does “Products × channel” stay empty?
Product × channel only appears when a campaign in Peak UTM has links to products and its utm_campaign value exactly matches the ad spend. Without this mapping, Growth still works, just without the product link.
- Create or open a campaign in Peak UTM.
- Set links to the advertised products.
- Write the utm_campaign value exactly like the campaign name in the ad spend.
