How do I create a shared space in Peak Together?

Open Peak Together and create a space: name, type (such as family, couple, shared flat or friends) and an emoji if you like. Peak then opens the space's members so you can create an invitation link right away.

    1. Open Peak Together.
    2. Give the space a name and choose the type.
    3. Create an invitation link under “Members”.

How do I invite someone to our space?

Under “Members” you create an invitation link, as a member or as a guest. You copy the link and send it yourself, for example via a messenger; Peak never messages anyone on its own. Whoever opens the link while signed in joins the space. You can withdraw a link at any time; guests can't invite anyone themselves.

How do I share a task or an event with the space?

You create it directly in the space under “Tasks” or “Calendar”, optionally with a person who takes it on. It's the same task as in Peak Task and the same event as in Peak Calendar, not a copy. Questions about it are kept as agreements on the task or event, not in a chat.

  • What do the others in the space see, and what stays private?Answer

What do the others in the space see, and what stays private?

The others only see what's explicitly shared with the space: tasks and events you create or share in the space, the space's notes and decisions, and the agreements on a task or event. Everything else in Peak stays private. Guests see shared tasks and events, but no notes, decisions or agreements.

The invitation link says “This link is no longer valid”. What now?

Invitation links are valid for 14 days or ten joins; after that, or when someone has withdrawn the link, they stop working. Ask the person who invited you for a new link. If you're already in the space, the link simply opens it.

    1. The person who invited you opens the space → Members.
    2. They click “Create invitation link” and send you the new link themselves.
    3. You open it, sign in if needed, and click “Join”.
