Error messageAccount & Sign-in
The sign-in link by email isn't working. What do the messages mean?
A sign-in link works once, only for a short time, and in the browser where you requested it. When in doubt, simply request a new one. Your data is not at risk.
- “… expired or has already been used”: request a new link at the bottom of the sign-in page.
- “We just sent a link …”: wait a moment, then request a new one. Check your spam folder too.
- “… could not be sent”: try again shortly, or sign in with Google.
- “… doesn't look complete”: check the address, e.g. whether the ending is missing.
- “Sign-in didn't work …”: open the link in the same browser where you requested it, or request a new one.
