    How do I sign in?

With Google, with a sign-in link by email or with a passkey, if you've created one. If your company uses its own sign-in service such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, choose “Sign in with SSO”. You don't need a separate password.

    1. Open the sign-in page.
    2. Choose “Continue with Google”, or enter your address under “or with email” and open the link from the email.
    3. The first time, this creates your Peak account. With Google, Peak receives only your name, email address, profile picture and the sign-in identifier.

On the sign-in page under “Sign in with SSO”. Enter your work address or your company's domain; Peak sends you to its sign-in service, such as Okta or Microsoft Entra ID, and back again. This only works once an owner or admin of your company has set up SSO in Peak.

    1. Open the sign-in page and expand “Sign in with SSO”.
    2. Under “Work address or company domain”, enter e.g. you@company.com or company.com.
    3. Choose “Continue to your company” and sign in with your company's sign-in service.
    4. If your company has turned on “Join on first sign-in (JIT)”, you're a member right away. Otherwise you need an invitation.

    2. Choose “Continue with Google” (or Microsoft, Apple), or enter your address under “or with email”.
    3. With email: open the link from the email in the same browser. Your account is then ready.

    I forgot my password.

Is there two-factor sign-in or passkeys?

Passkeys, yes: you create one under Settings → Security, and after that you sign in with “Sign in with passkey”. Peak doesn't have its own two-factor sign-in. 2-Step Verification with Google or with your company's sign-in service (SSO) protects Peak as well.

  • Sign-in isn't working. What can I do?Troubleshooting

    Sign-in isn't working. What can I do?

Usually it's the browser, an interrupted Google confirmation or an old sign-in link. Try the following in this order; your data is not at risk.

    1. Reload the sign-in page and choose your method again: Google, email link, passkey or SSO. A sign-in link only works once.
    2. Allow cookies for app.peak-atlas.com. Without cookies, no session can be created.
    3. Close other tabs with a Google sign-in in progress and try again.
    4. Check that you chose the right Google account. Each Google address is a separate Peak account, unless you've linked it as an additional email.
    5. Still not working? Write to us with the time of the attempt and your browser.

  • My invitation link doesn't work.Troubleshooting

    My invitation link doesn't work.

Invitations are personal and expire. The page tells you what's wrong. In any case, a new invitation from the person who invited you, or from support, will help.

    1. “This invitation has expired.” → Ask for a new invitation.
    2. “… has been withdrawn.” → The invitation is no longer valid. Ask whether it will be issued again.
    3. “… has already been accepted with another account.” → Sign in with the Google account you used to accept it.
    4. “This invitation link is not valid.” → Check that the link was copied completely.

“This invitation was prepared for a different email address.” What does that mean?

You're signed in with a Google account whose address doesn't match the invitation. Only continue if the invitation is really meant for you. Otherwise, on the same page, choose “sign in with a different account” and use the account with the invited address.

“Additional sign-in addresses aren't enabled for Peak Atlas yet.”

Linking additional addresses isn't active in your environment right now. Your sign-in stays as it is. Until it works again, you can add the other address as a separate account and switch between them. Write to us if you need it in the same account.

  • “Your company signs you in through its own sign-in service.” What does that mean?Error message

“Your company signs you in through its own sign-in service.” What does that mean?

Your company has made SSO mandatory. For addresses on its domain, Google, email link and passkey then lead to sign-in through its sign-in service. Enter your work address under “Sign in with SSO”. Only the organization's owners are exempt.

    1. “Your company signs you in …”: open “Sign in with SSO” and enter your work address.
    2. “No SSO sign-in is set up for this address.”: Peak knows no SSO connection for this domain. Check the spelling, or sign in with Google or an email link.
    3. “Enter your work address or your company's domain …”: the field was empty or held no domain.
    4. If sign-in fails at the sign-in service itself, your company's IT can help. Peak never sees your company password.

  • The sign-in link by email isn't working. What do the messages mean?Error message

The sign-in link by email isn't working. What do the messages mean?

A sign-in link works once, only for a short time, and in the browser where you requested it. When in doubt, simply request a new one. Your data is not at risk.

    1. “… expired or has already been used”: request a new link at the bottom of the sign-in page.
    2. “We just sent a link …”: wait a moment, then request a new one. Check your spam folder too.
    3. “… could not be sent”: try again shortly, or sign in with Google.
    4. “… doesn't look complete”: check the address, e.g. whether the ending is missing.
    5. “Sign-in didn't work …”: open the link in the same browser where you requested it, or request a new one.

Creating my account says “Sign-in was cancelled.” or “… with this provider didn't work.”

  • “This invitation has expired or was withdrawn.” What now?Error message

“This invitation has expired or was withdrawn.” What now?

The link from your invitation is no longer valid. It expired, was withdrawn or was replaced by a new link. Ask the person who invited you for a new link. You can also start right away with your own account and accept a new invitation with it later.

Peak says “Please sign in.” or “Please sign in again.” even though I was signed in.

Your session in this browser expired or was ended, for example by signing out in another tab or by “Sign out all other sessions”. The action you were about to take was not saved. Sign in again and repeat it.

    1. Reload the page. If Peak takes you to sign-in, sign in there.
    2. Then repeat what you wanted to save.
    3. If it keeps happening: allow cookies for app.peak-atlas.com and check whether a browser add-on deletes cookies.
