How do I enter a reservation in Peak Reservations?

First create your tables, rooms or courts in the settings. Under “Plan” you enter date, time and party size; Peak suggests the smallest free place that fits and says why. With “Choose myself” you pick another one. A place can never be double-booked.

    1. Open Peak Reservations and choose “Plan”.
    2. Enter date, time, party size and the name.
    3. Check the suggestion and save.

  • How does Peak calculate the no-show rate?Answer

How does Peak calculate the no-show rate?

Only completed days count. The rate is “No-show” divided by all reservations where you recorded the outcome (arrived, left or no-show). Reservations without an outcome don't count and are listed. Below 20 recorded reservations the rate is only a tendency.

Does Peak Reservations send my guests a confirmation?

No. Peak doesn't message any guest, neither a confirmation nor a reminder or cancellation, and guests can't book online themselves yet. With an email address or phone number the guest is recognized as a contact of your workspace, so their reservations belong together; only members of your team see the reservations.

  • Why doesn't Peak suggest a table for a reservation?Troubleshooting

Why doesn't Peak suggest a table for a reservation?

Peak looks for the smallest free place that fits the party, otherwise two tables of the same area that can be put together. The turnover time counts before and after every reservation. When Peak finds nothing, the reservation is still saved, just without a place yet, and the reason is shown next to it.

    1. Under Settings, check that places exist and how many people they seat.
    2. Mark tables that can be pushed together with “Can be combined with another table in the same area” and give both the same area.
    3. Check “Turnover time (min.)” and “Largest party” in the settings.
    4. Otherwise assign the place later in the plan with “Choose myself”.
