Peak Fulfillment

Which orders are stuck, what has really shipped, what happened with every return and what to do now.

  • What does Peak Fulfillment need to show open orders?How-to

What does Peak Fulfillment need to show open orders?

Peak Fulfillment reads the orders already in Peak Profit (Shopify through the Pipedream connection). For an order to count as “late”, it needs a shipping rule: either hours until shipment or a same-day cutoff, plus working days and time zone. Without a rule, Peak Fulfillment shows open orders but doesn't call any of them late.

    1. Connect Shopify in Peak Profit or import orders via CSV.
    2. In Peak Fulfillment, set your shipping rule under Settings.
    3. Import shipping and tracking data via CSV if your warehouse doesn't report through Shopify.
    4. Open Today.

  • How do I set the shipping target, workdays and alert thresholds?How-to

How do I set the shipping target, workdays and alert thresholds?

Under Settings, choose the “Shipping target”: no target, a cutoff (“Ordered by … → ships the same workday”) or “Ships within … hours”. Then add workdays and thresholds such as “No carrier scan for”. Without a shipping target, Peak doesn't call any order “late”, only old.

    1. Open Peak Fulfillment → ⋯ → “Settings”.
    2. Under “Shipping target”, choose cutoff or hours and enter the value.
    3. Mark the workdays.
    4. Optionally set “Returns: target until receipt”, “No carrier scan for”, “Data stale after” and “Without target: old from”.
    5. Click “Save”.

  • How do I put an order on hold, for example for an address check?How-to

How do I put an order on hold, for example for an address check?

In the order, under “Put order on hold”, choose a reason such as “Check address”, “Payment” or “Customer request” and click “Hold”. The order then appears as blocked in the queue. The hold only applies in Peak; nothing changes in Shopify.

    1. Open “Orders” and click the order.
    2. Under “Hold because of”, choose the reason and optionally write a note.
    3. Click “Hold”.
    4. To release it later, click “Remove hold”.

  • How do I enter a shipment manually?How-to

How do I enter a shipment manually?

If neither Shopify nor a CSV reports the shipment, you record it directly on the order. You choose the quantity per line item, status, location and optionally carrier, tracking number and shipping cost. Peak doesn't buy a label and doesn't notify anyone.

    1. Open the order under “Orders”.
    2. Expand “Record shipment manually”.
    3. Enter quantities, status (for example “Shipped”) and optionally the tracking number.
    4. Click “Create fulfillment”. You set further steps in the fulfillment, such as “Mark as shipped” or “Delivery confirmed”.

  • How do I import shipping or return data from my warehouse via CSV?How-to

How do I import shipping or return data from my warehouse via CSV?

Under “Import”, you upload a CSV with fulfillments or returns. Peak matches each row to an existing order; unknown orders and quantities above what was ordered are skipped and listed. The file can be at most 5 MB.

    1. In Peak Fulfillment, open “Import” at the top right.
    2. Under “What are you importing?”, choose fulfillments or returns.
    3. Fulfillments need the columns order and status or ship date, one row per line item. Returns need order, SKU or item, and quantity.
    4. Upload the file and read the summary.

  • How do I create a return?How-to

How do I create a return?

A return always belongs to an order. You create it on the order or under “Returns”, choose the line items with quantity and reason, and can store the customer's wording unchanged. Peak doesn't accept more than was ordered.

    1. Open “Returns” and click “Create return”, or open the order and click “Create return” there.
    2. Find the order by its order number, for example #1042.
    3. For each line item, enter “Quantity returned” and the “Reason”.
    4. Optional: note and “Return label cost (actual)”. Then click “Create return”.

  • Why is a shipment shown as shipped but not delivered?Answer

Why is a shipment shown as shipped but not delivered?

Shipped means the package has left the warehouse. Delivered only appears once there's a delivery event from the carrier, from Shopify or from your CSV import. If there's no scan for a while, Peak Fulfillment shows the shipment as “no scan”, but never calls it lost. You decide in Settings when that gets flagged.

  • Does Peak Fulfillment refund a return?Answer

Does Peak Fulfillment refund a return?

No. A return and a refund are two different things: the return records what comes back, why, in what condition and whether it's restocked. The refund stays in Shopify and Peak Profit. Peak Fulfillment only links the return to an existing refund, so nothing is counted twice. A return without a refund and a refund without a return are both possible.

  • Why don't I see older orders in Peak Fulfillment?Answer

Why don't I see older orders in Peak Fulfillment?

Peak Fulfillment shows the orders from the last 90 days. Older orders stay in Peak Profit but don't appear here, not even when searching for an order for a return. If there are more orders in the window than Peak reads at once, the oldest are missing, and the page says so.

  • Why doesn't a restocked return change my inventory?Troubleshooting

Why doesn't a restocked return change my inventory?

As long as Shopify or your warehouse manages inventory, Peak Fulfillment doesn't post anything, so nothing is deducted or added twice. Only if you specify in Settings that Peak manages inventory do shipping, restocking and write-offs change the inventory of products maintained manually in Peak Products, and each movement exactly once. Damaged goods are never restocked.

  • Why can't I close a return?Troubleshooting

    Why can't I close a return?

A return can only be resolved once every received item has a decision. Book the receipt first, then inspect each line item with condition and decision, and finally record the resolution.

    1. Open the return and enter the received quantities under receipt, then click “Book receipt”.
    2. For each line item, choose “Condition” and “Decision”, such as “Restock (sellable)”, and click “Save inspection”.
    3. Under “Resolution”, choose for example “Refund” or “Exchange” and click “Record resolution”.

  • Why can't I restock or write off returned goods?Error message

Why can't I restock or write off returned goods?

Restocking is only possible with the condition “Sellable” or “Needs rework” and a restock decision; damaged goods are never restocked. Only the company's owners or admins can write off. Restocked and written off together can't be more than was received.
